How it all began

Black Fountain Press was founded in 2017 by Jeff Thill, Anne-Marie Reuter, Nathalie Jacoby and Laurent Fels.

Laurent Fels, the editor of the poetry magazine Regards sur la poésie du XXe siècle, was advisor to Black Fountain Press from 2017-2018.

Jeff Thill, who was publishing director from 2017-2019, left in December 2019 to start a bookshop, the ‘Quaichleker Bichereck’ in Echternach, a lively place that continues to thrive and make the happiness of young and older readers. www.bichereck.lu

Nathalie Jacoby was advisor and editor from 2017 to 2019. She worked as editing director from 2019 until October 2020 but had to resign when she was appointed Director of the National Literature Archive. www.cnl.publi.lu She currently deploys her enthusiasm, her competence and energy for the greater benefit of Luxembourg’s literary scene.
